Concrete spills cause millions of dollars of property damage, large cleanup costs, environmental fines and damage each year not to mention hundreds of wasted employee hours, yards of material, and potential loss of customer contracts.
Prevent spills with SAM: the Spill Alert Monitor. SAM knows when your drum is in discharge and notifies the driver before concrete pours out to avoid concrete spill accidents.
Concrete delivery companies wanting to reliably get their concrete to the job site, instead of being scattered down the road on the way. We have 1-100+ units available for purchase, to outfit a fleet of any size with SAM.
Our concrete spill prevention system is currently designed for use with rear-discharge mixer trucks where discharge rotation is CLOCKWISE when looking at the drum from the front of the truck. Alternative discharge direction units are available upon request.
Simply snap the Sensor unit to the drum, put the Alarm unit in the truck's cab, and plug in the USB cable. That's it.
The Sensor unit automatically monitors the rotation of the drum to detect discharge rotation and wirelessly connects to the Alarm unit to notify the driver of a potential spill.
SAM is engineered to be tough and reliable. Rain, snow, acid wash; it can handle it. It's made in America.
SAM is made with high-performance polymers and stainless-steel hardware to easily withstand the elements and harsh environment of any worksite.

The Alarm unit uses a flashing light and loud tone to alert the driver that the drum is in discharge. The driver can snooze the alarm when they are at a job-site.
Because it's simple and intuitive to use, no specialized training is needed. SAM easily and unobtrusively integrates into the cab and driver's equipment. The only button on the device is used to temporarily snooze the alarm.
Nope. Since the Sensor magnetically attaches to the outside of the drum, it installs in seconds without tools or modifications to the truck. The Alarm unit mounts to the dashboard or windshield using a suction cup. The whole system can be installed in just a few minutes without any training.
High-tech micro-electronics inside the Sensor detect the motion of the drum. When a discharge rotation is detected, the Sensor unit wirelessly notifies the Alarm unit to alert the driver.
The Sensor is optimized for minimal power usage so it can run for several months on two standard watch batteries (CR2032). The Alarm stays powered while plugged into the USB-C cable in the cab. It also has an integrated rechargeable battery, so it works for up to 6 hours even when disconnected from power.
